Curriculum & Call Schedules

We are proud of our innovative, protected didactics, our emphasis on wellness,
and our resident-designed call schedules.

Innovative and Evolving

We are priveliged to care for and learn from our diverse patient population at a wide-array of training sites. As with any program this size, there are a lot of moving parts. Below are the more technical aspects of our robust training schedule. Our program stays agile and flexible through a biannual quality improvement retreat in which residents brainstorm and draft proposals for redesigning and enhancing critical aspects of our residency.

Our faculty approach didactics with a similar spirit of innovation. For example, we divided into groups and put on mini dramatic performances about the stages of childhood development to teach each other during a recent intensive PRITE review session. Many neuroscience didactics include blank diagrams of the brain for residents to label and color with lecture content.
